GRANTMAKING OVERVIEW

Cypress Fund’s grant-making is advised by community organizers and social justice leaders and is distributed through several vehicles.

Most of our grantmaking comes from a pool of funds donated by individual and institutional philanthropic donors. We distribute grants from this pool in several ways. We strive to provide multi-year, general operating support to grassroots community groups.
