Join The Movement

We believe that generational change happens when communities are holistically resourced.

By redistributing resources, organizing the community, and supporting grassroots leaders, we strengthen the soul of the community and build lasting solutions together.

Movement Beyond Money

We educate and organize donors, agitate within traditional philanthropy, and move resources into the hands of social justice movements and community organizers in North and South Carolina. We provide political education to donors who share our values, helping them redistribute their resources philanthropically and politically. This includes building their political analysis, educating them on relevant issues, connecting them with grassroots leaders, and assisting them in deploying their social and financial capital to effect change.

Our Grantmaking

We are unique from other funders in that we give long-term general operating support for grassroots social justice organizing led by communities directly impacted by systemic oppression. Led by movement leaders, we commit to multi-year funding for BIPOC-led initiatives and organizations. Our grantees aren’t just recipients, they’re movement partners. This isn’t a transactional exchange; it’s a true, deep partnership that fuels collective power.
